Position Title: Business Analyst Department: Business Operations / IT / Project Management Reports To: Project Manager Location: Kochi Working mode: Full-time /Remote Job Overview: The Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and working with stakeholders to implement solutions that align with business goals. This role requires a combination of analytical skills, communication abilities, and project management expertise to drive successful business outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: o Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives. o Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed requirements. o Document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows. • Process Improvement: o Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. o Develop and propose solutions to optimize processes and enhance productivity. o Create process models, workflows, and diagrams to illustrate improvements. o Design Wireframes to visually represents system behaviours. • Data Analysis and Reporting: o Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decisions. o Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders. o Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data analysis. • Project Support: o Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination. o Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects. o Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables. • Stakeholder Communication: o Serve as a liaison between business units, IT, and other stakeholders. o Facilitate clear and effective communication of requirements and solutions. o Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals. Solution Implementation: o Work with development teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements. o Participate in testing and validation of solutions to ensure quality. o Provide training and support to end-users during implementation. • Documentation and Training: o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes and requirements. o Develop user guides, manuals, and training materials. o Conduct training sessions for stakeholders and end-users. Qualifications • Education: o Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. • Experience: o Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role. o Proven experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and project support. o Experience with data analysis and reporting tools. • Technical Skills: o Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g Visio, Lucid chart, Balsamiq, Draw.io etc) o Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project). o Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) is a plus. • Soft Skills: o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. o Strong communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. o Strong organizational and time-management skills. Preferred Qualifications • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or similar). • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Knowledge of industry-specific processes and regulations.
