Job Title: AI Engineer - Backend Automation (Remote) Role Overview: Looking for an experienced AI Engineer to drive backend automation for transaction monitoring, chargeback handling, and fraud detection. The ideal candidate will develop AI/GenAI-driven solutions to streamline manual processes and enhance fraud detection capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Develop AI models for real-time fraud detection and transaction anomaly detection. Implement automated chargeback handling systems using GenAI for dispute classification and resolution. Design AI-driven summarization tools to generate insights from disputed transactions. Build and deploy agentic AI models for deployment monitoring and failure detection. Develop AI-driven chatbot solutions leveraging GenAI for customer support and backend automation. Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into Paymentologys Data Lakehouse. Evaluate the feasibility of in-house fraud detection models versus third-party risk engines. Optimize existing AI solutions for performance, accuracy, and scalability. Work closely with backend teams to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities. Stay updated with the latest AI advancements to enhance Paymentologys fraud prevention strategies. Required Skills & Experience: Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields. 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development with a focus on backend automation. Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks. Experience with anomaly detection, fraud detection, or risk analytics. Strong knowledge of NLP, LLMs, and AI-driven document processing. Expertise in Agentic AI and GenAI for chatbot development and automation. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and AI deployment. Familiarity with financial transaction data and payment processing is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with chatbot development for customer support automation. Knowledge of Fintech terms like multi-currency and cross-border payment systems. Exposure to regulatory compliance in financial transactions. Previous experience in fintech or payment processing companies.
