Building Services Department Manager

As a Department Manager at PM Group, a leading International engineering and construction management firm, you will play a crucial role in the success of our Building Services team in Bangalore. With a network of offices worldwide and a dedicated team of over 3,700 professionals, we specialize in delivering complex projects across various sectors. **Key Responsibilities:** - Facilitate communication between Senior Management and Engineers to ensure project alignment. - Develop and expand the current team to meet project requirements and cater to the growing Building Services Opportunities. - Act as a Building Services Engineer on International Projects on a daily basis. - Understand the project office Building Services needs, estimate hours, plan work streams, and deliver projects according to project team specifications. - Recruit HVAC/ Utility Design Engineers and Designers to fulfill MOE Growth plans and Project Office needs. - Conduct onboarding for new hires including Technical Induction and Discipline Training. - Support in resource planning and allocation. - Ensure Department Design Services adhere to PM Group's Quality Management System. - Collaborate with HR for employee development activities such as appraisals. **Qualifications:** - Ideally hold a Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 15-20 years of relevant EPC Project Delivery experience as a Building Services Department Manager. - Proficiency in Building Services (HVAC) Design and Utility Design. - Familiarity with BMS design. - Demonstrated expertise in workflows across the project lifecycle. - Strong organizational, collaborative, and interpersonal skills. - Proven track record in leadership and mentorship. - Commercially astute with a proactive approach. - Effective communication skills with a history of decision-making.
