Complianceare Non-Labour Compliances , you will oversee and drive non-labour andPosition : Lead Compliances (Non-Labour but building Compliance) Location: Gurgaon Department: Legal Team Role Level: AGM/DGM Budgeted CTC : 30 LPA Position Overview: As the Lead of Non-Labour Compliances , you will oversee and drive Building Compliance between the Business, Operations team, and Compliance Vendor. You will serve as the key point of contact for all building-related compliance that the Facility Management organization delivers; this also includes Food Licenses, including new registrations, renewals, mandatory approvals, and the surrender of licenses, ensuring 100% compliance with compulsory licenses required to operate the business. People with experience in HR/Labour Compliance should not apply. Key Job Responsibilities: Lead and manage all compliance operations regarding building facilities, kitchen operations licenses, and other mandatory approvals for running the business operations Collaborate with regional People and Operations Delivery teams to collect the requirements from client establishments and mandatory documents to perform the task. Develop and implement operational processes to improve the licensing & registration activities with internal & external stakeholders. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders like Regional People, the Ops team, and compliance vendors. Initiate the required task one or two months before to avoid any delay. Manage the tracker for renewals Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal & finance and Ops team, to ensure alignment and effective execution of Licensing activities. Maintenance of Tracker for day-to-day operations.Maintenance of License & other copies for Records & reference. Monthly status report of all the licenses with the Business Group and other stakeholders. Key Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree An MBA or relevant certifications is a plus. Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience managing non-labor compliance, such as in a factory compliance, Mall or building compliance role. Strong background in operational management and stakeholders and Vendor relationship management. Vendor management Skills: Strong domain in terms of Non-Labor & Factory Compliance, Building Compliance related activities. Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficiency in working on MS Office suite. Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with senior leadership. What You'll Be Doing: Compliance Management: Oversee and ensure all sites meet building compliance standards in line with regulatory requirements, internationally accepted best practices, and internal systems. Documentation & Filings: Assist in preparing documents and ensuring timely registration, renewal, and amendments under various acts by the Building Compliance Team. Inspections & Closure: Attend inspections and ensure timely closure of any observations with proper documentation. Site Coordination: Act as a central point of contact for the site team, resolving operational queries related to compliance. Legal & Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about legislation amendments and notifications, and provide legal opinions on new or revised legislations. Record Keeping: Ensure the site team maintains statutory records, notices, and returns accurately and on time. Display Requirements: Ensure notice board displays are in compliance with labor laws. Reporting & Communication: Ensure timely submission of all reports from sites, including MIS and related reports to stakeholders. You'll also be responsible for timely responses to emails, occupant concern resolution, and circulation of meeting minutes. Business Development Support: Support JLL's emerging business by sharing leads of works undertaken at the sites. Team & Self-Development: Actively participate in self-development through training tools and foster a culture of appreciation within the team. JLL Initiatives: Take part in and drive JLL initiatives such as Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and Safety Week. Culture & Values: Imbibe and promote JLL's culture and values in all aspects of your work. Team Support: Support the Key Account Director in people performance evaluation/assessment and succession planning for the team. Ad-hoc Tasks: Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by management. What We're Looking For: Analytical & Meticulous: You have a keen eye for detail and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. People Management: You are adept at understanding and managing people dynamics, which is central to this role. Experience: A Degree/Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 7 to 8 years of work experience in building compliance within the Facility Industry, Real Estate, Hotel, or Construction Industry.
