Building Caretaker/Security Guard

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 1. Building Maintenance & Caretaking Daily cleaning of common areas (entrance, lobby, staircase, parking, etc.) Minor maintenance work like changing bulbs, checking water pumps, and basic plumbing/electrical tasks Coordinating with external vendors for major repairs Monitoring water tanks, pipelines, and common utilities 2. Security & Monitoring Ensuring the security of building premises Monitoring entry/exit of visitors, service personnel, and deliveries Maintaining visitor logs and ensuring proper identification Reporting any suspicious activities to residents or management 3. Additional Support Helping with garbage disposal schedules Receiving and handling parcel deliveries (if required) 4. Miscellaneous Duties Opening and closing of main gates as per schedule Ensuring lights and common area appliances are switched off/on on time Any other duties assigned by the building committee or management Eligibility & Skills: Age: 45–50 years Physically fit and alert Trustworthy and responsible Basic knowledge of maintenance (plumbing/electrical preferred) Prior experience as caretaker or security guard preferred Ability to read/write basic Hindi or English Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Language: English (Preferred) Hindi (Preferred) Work Location: In person Application Deadline: 15/07/2025 Expected Start Date: 15/07/2025
