Job Summary

.NET Build Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Build & CI/CD

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET applications using tools such as

  Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or TeamCity

• Automate build, test, packaging, and deployment processes for .NET Framework and .NET Core / .NET applications
• Manage build configurations, branching strategies, and versioning standards

Release & Environment Management

• Support release management activities including build promotion across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)
• Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure build stability and release readiness
• Troubleshoot build failures, pipeline issues, and deployment errors

Infrastructure & Tooling

• Maintain and optimize build agents, runners, and pipeline infrastructure
• Integrate code quality, security scanning, and test automation tools into CI pipelines
• Manage NuGet packages, internal artifact repositories, and dependency versioning

Collaboration & Governance

• Work closely with development teams to enforce build best practices
• Define and document build and release processes
• Participate in audits and compliance activities by providing build and deployment traceability

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with

  .NET Framework, .NET Core, and MSBuild

• Hands-on experience with

  CI/CD tools

  (Azure DevOps preferred)
• Solid understanding of

  Git

  (branching, merging, tagging strategies)
• Experience with

  PowerShell

  or scripting for automation
• Familiarity with

  NuGet

  , artifact management, and package versioning
• Knowledge of

  Docker

  and containerized builds is a plus
• Exposure to

  cloud platforms

  (Azure preferred)

Build & Release Expertise

• Experience implementing build automation for large, multi-project solutions
• Understanding of deployment strategies (blue-green, rolling, feature flags)
• Ability to enforce build quality gates and release controls
