Job Description

Branch Manager - Microfinance
Job Purpose
Responsible for achieving critical parameters such as business growth, portfolio quality, and employee attrition as required by management. The Branch Manager will oversee team members in the branch, manage people metrics, and ensure all compliance requirements are met. Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct daily reviews with team members regarding business projections, cross-selling, center meetings, and activity plans for the day.

Ensure execution of the defined activity plan for customer visits by the team.

Supervise and monitor branch operations, conduct team huddles, and address pain points.

Attend center meetings and interact with customers. Conduct Group Recognition Tests based on the operating model.

Track and facilitate disbursements as planned for the day and month.

Ensure 100% compliance with all business policies and SOPs for the branch.

Assist in collections cases in higher buckets, work with teams, and jointly visit customers in the location.

Nominate team members for rewards and recognition based on achievements; appreciate team members in internal forums as relevant.

Ensure critical parameters like lead to login are executed as per matrix.

Regularly meet customers in the branch location and manage portfolio health and quality as per defined targets.

Manage branch upkeep and all collaterals; coordinate with Product and Admin teams as required to maintain branch hygiene and facilities.

Major Challenges

Employee attrition.

Portfolio quality and monitoring; managing portfolio as per defined targets.

Compliance with all business parameters and ensuring zero audit findings for the branch.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications

Graduation (Bachelor’s degree).

Work Experience

4–6 years in Microfinance JLG business, with at least 2 years as Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager.
