BPO US Accounting - Staff

You should be a Fresh Chartered Accountant/CPA or hold a Masters degree with at least 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in US accounting. You must possess strong conceptual accounting knowledge and be well-versed in software/applications such as Excel, Word, QBO, Xero, SAGE, NetSuite, Yardi, etc. Additionally, you should demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills, be a self-starter, highly collaborative, creative, outgoing, and possess strong financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills. Your role will involve preparing workpapers, accounting schedules, and extracting and preparing various management reports as per clients" needs. You will also assist in projects like accounting clean-up, books rebuild, software migration, account adjustments, and sharing necessary information with other departments. It is essential to learn new software and develop new technological skills required for accounting and financial reporting. You will be responsible for adhering to deadlines, keeping the reviewer updated on the progress, self-reviewing work for accuracy and completeness, and preparing SOP for assigned tasks. Furthermore, you must adhere to the firm's internal policies, procedures, and controls. Collaboration with both India-based and US-based staff is crucial for performing transactional activities, technical accounting activities, and reporting activities effectively. Overall, you should have good written and spoken communication skills, be able to work well as part of a team, follow instructions, and uphold excellent work ethics. Your administrative duties will involve complying with Firm/BPO department policies, utilizing downtime effectively, and meeting the Firm's CPE requirements. Being well-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks is essential for success in this role.,
