Bosun – Underwater Diving Operations Crew

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Bosun to join our underwater diving operations crew. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the deck crew, ensuring the safety and efficiency of all deck and diving-related support activities onboard. This role plays a key part in the smooth execution of offshore and subsea projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all deck operations, including mooring, anchoring, towing, and crane/lifting operations.
• Oversee daily deck maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of equipment.
• Support divers and diving supervisors during mobilization, dive support, and demobilization activities.
• Ensure diving launch and recovery systems (LARS), diving bells, and winches are operated safely and maintained properly.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ensure deck crew compliance with safety procedures.
• Maintain inventory of deck equipment, ropes, rigging gear, and lifting accessories.
• Assist with the handling and securing of ROV (if applicable) or other subsea tools.
• Report to the Chief Officer/Deck Supervisor and work closely with the Diving Superintendent and Marine Superintendent.
• Monitor condition of deck tools, hatches, tanks, and watertight doors.
• Comply with company’s QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Bosun or Senior AB on offshore/diving support vessels (DSV, AHTS, or similar).
• Valid STCW Certificates (PST, PSSR, FPFF, EFA, PSCRB).
• Valid Indian CDC or equivalent.
• Offshore experience and familiarity with diving operations preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safe rigging, lifting operations, and deck machinery handling.
• Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) and H2S (optional/preferred).
• Good physical fitness and willingness to work in offshore environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
