As a BOQ Specialist at Daftar Decor, a premium design and build company specializing in corporate interiors and turnkey fit-out solutions, your role will involve preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), conducting cost analyses, and ensuring accurate budgeting and estimation practices to support project execution. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed BOQs based on architectural and interior drawings. - Perform pre- and post-execution cost analysis for budgeting and evaluation purposes. - Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams to align BOQs with actual requirements. - Conduct value engineering to maintain project efficiency while upholding quality standards. - Visit sites for verification and on-ground measurements. - Track material consumption, update rate analysis, and monitor cost overruns. - Collaborate with vendors and contractors to gather and verify material/labor rates. - Assist in preparing commercial proposals, tender documents, and client presentations. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying. - 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in interior fit-out or corporate interior projects. - Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools. - Strong knowledge of interior materials, construction techniques, and MEP quantities. - Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret costs effectively. - Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
