Job Description

Job Summary:

Boiler Operator

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain steam boilers as per IBR and safety guidelines.
Monitor boiler parameters including pressure, temperature, and water levels.
Perform daily checks, record keeping, and routine maintenance.
Ensure proper fuel feed and combustion efficiency.
Handle emergency shutdowns and troubleshoot boiler-related issues.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the boiler room.
Comply with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Assist in periodic inspections and audits by authorized boiler inspectors.

Key Requirements:

Must hold a valid
2nd Class Boiler Attendant Certificate
(as per IBR).
Minimum 25 years of experience in boiler operation in a factory/industrial setup.
Knowledge of
IBR rules
, safety procedures, and boiler control instruments.
Should be physically fit and willing to work in shifts.
Experience with coal/wood/biomass-fired boilers preferred.
