Job Description

The Production Manager Private Labeling & Pouch Packing Production is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire private labeling and pouch packing production process for multiple buyers. This includes ensuring quality control, timely production, compliance with buyer specifications, cost efficiency, and smooth coordination between different departments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Production Management: Plan, execute, and oversee private labeling and pouch packing operations to meet buyer requirements as per shipment schedule. Ensure production targets are met within deadlines while maintaining quality standards( coordination with Quality Department) Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and labeling components. Implement lean/ Industry popular manufacturing techniques to enhance productivity. 2. Private Labeling Coordination: Work closely with multiple buyers to understand their private labeling requirements, including branding, packaging, and quality expectations. Ensure accurate application of buyer-specific labels, barcodes, and branding elements. Conduct regular audits to maintain label consistency and adherence to buyer standards. Handle modifications and customization requests from different buyers efficiently. 3. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP, FSSAI, FDA, etc.). Implement strict quality control measures to minimize defects and maintain product integrity. Collaborate with the Quality Control team to conduct inspections and address any non-conformities. Maintain proper documentation for regulatory and buyer audits. 4. Coordination with Stakeholders: Liaise with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless production planning and dispatch. Communicate regularly with clients/buyers to provide updates and resolve any concerns. Work with design teams for artwork approvals and packaging design compliance. Supervise vendor management for sourcing and supply of packaging materials. 5. Cost & Inventory Management: Monitor production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Ensure efficient utilization of raw materials and packaging materials to minimize waste. Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid production delays. 6. Team Leadership & Training: Supervise production staff, including machine operators, supervisors, and quality inspectors. Conduct training programs to enhance team skills in pouch packing and private labeling processes. Enforce workplace safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
