As a Body Shop Advisor, your role will be vital in serving as the main point of contact for customers, insurance companies, and technicians. You will be responsible for preparing precise damage estimates, overseeing repair processes, managing customer interactions, and ensuring that all repairs adhere to company and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers professionally and in a friendly manner. - Thoroughly inspect vehicles for collision damage and accurately document repair requirements. - Create precise repair estimates utilizing industry standards. - Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters to secure repair approvals and coverage. - Schedule repair tasks, procure necessary parts, and coordinate with technicians for seamless workflow. - Keep customers informed with regular updates on the progress of repairs. - Perform final inspections on vehicles and review completed repairs with customers. - Maintain accuracy in documentation and billing processes. - Uphold a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred. - Proficiency in communication and customer service. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating and documentation. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of industry standards and repair procedures is advantageous.
