Job Description

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boat Captain to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in navigating and operating boats, ensuring safety and compliance with maritime regulations while providing excellent service to passengers.

Responsibilities

Navigate and operate the boat safely in various weather conditions.
Ensure the maintenance and safety of the vessel at all times.
Monitor and manage onboard equipment and systems during operations.
Communicate effectively with crew members and passengers regarding safety procedures and travel itineraries.
Conduct regular safety drills and inspections of the vessel.
Assist in loading and unloading of passengers and cargo as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Valid Boat Captain's license or equivalent certification.
2-5 years of experience in operating boats or similar vessels.
Strong knowledge of navigation, maritime laws, and safety regulations.
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
