BlueCloud - Data Architect - ETL/Python

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with deep expertise in Snowflake and modern ETL frameworks, particularly dbt and Coalesce. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in scripting languages, relational and non-relational databases, and cloud-native data architectures. Experience in the retail domain is highly advantageous and will help accelerate success in this role. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable data architecture solutions using Snowflake. Lead the development and optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt and Coalesce. Define and enforce best practices for data modeling, transformation, and orchestration. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver efficient solutions. Promote data quality, security, and governance across all data systems. Provide architectural direction and mentorship to data engineering : Proven architect-level experience with Snowflake. Extensive hands-on experience with dbt and Coalesce for ETL/ELT workflows. Proficiency in scripting languages such as SQL, Python, and Shell scripting. Strong working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). Solid understanding of modern data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud-native architectures. Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data projects. Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration to Have : Prior experience in the retail industry or exposure to retail data environments (e.g., POS, supply chain, customer analytics).
