About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bizops Engineer who thrives under pressure and brings a strong blend of technical proficiency and design thinking. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for operational excellence, automation, and stakeholder collaboration in Agile and ITSM environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.

Develop Bash/Unix shell scripts to automate operational tasks, parse logs, and monitor systems.

Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate security checks into automated workflows.

Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve system reliability and reduce operational toil.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage access audits, troubleshoot issues, and enhance platform performance.

Maintain and monitor systems across Windows and UNIX/Linux environments.

Ensure secure and efficient networking, authentication, and session management for web applications.

Required Technical Skills

SQL Querying: Strong experience with relational databases and query optimization.

Bash & Unix Shell Scripting: Proficiency in command-line scripting, cron jobs, and process control.

CI/CD & Automation: Exposure to continuous integration/deployment tools and practices.

SRE Principles: Understanding of observability, incident response, and SLOs.

Platform Knowledge:

Operating Systems: Windows, UNIX/Linux

Networking: Firewalls, DNS, VPNs

Web Applications: Authentication flows, session management

Databases: Schema design, indexing, access control

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

Python Scripting: For automation, data processing, and API integrations.

XLR (XebiaLabs Release) or Chef Habitat: Experience with release orchestration or infrastructure automation.

Privilege and Access Management (PAM): Familiarity with tools like RSA IGL, MARC, CyberArk, BeyondTrust.
