Biomedical Service Engineer (4 year experience)

A Biomedical Service Engineer primarily installs, maintains, and repairs medical equipment within healthcare facilities. They ensure the proper functioning and safety of medical devices, troubleshoot issues, and provide training on equipment use. Their role is crucial for supporting patient care and ensuring the reliability of medical technology. Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance:Installing, calibrating, and maintaining a wide range of biomedical equipment, including diagnostic imaging, laboratory, and patient monitoring systems.
• Troubleshooting and Repair:Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in medical equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Training and Support:Training healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical devices, ensuring safe and effective operation.
• Equipment Evaluation:Evaluating new equipment and ensuring it meets safety standards and performance requirements before deployment.
• Documentation:Maintaining detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Inventory Management:Managing medical equipment inventory and supplies.
