Job Description

Position Title: BIM Modeler – PHE & Fire Fighting
Location: Mumbai & Noida

Job Purpose:

To support the MEP design team in developing detailed, coordinated 3D BIM models and drawings for Public Health Engineering (PHE) and Fire Fighting systems. The BIM Modeler will ensure accurate modeling, clash coordination, and compliance with project-specific BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain 3D BIM models for PHE and Fire Fighting systems using Revit MEP and related software.
Prepare detailed shop drawings and coordinated layout plans for water supply, drainage, stormwater, fire sprinkler, and hydrant systems.
Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines to resolve coordination issues.
Participate in clash detection and resolution using Navisworks or similar tools.
Follow BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific modeling standards.
Generate BOQs, schedules, and support documentation from the BIM models.
Maintain documentation and version control as per QA/QC standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or a related field.
6-8 years of experience as a BIM Modeler with specialization in PHE and Fire Fighting systems.
Strong proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM tools.
Sound knowledge of PHE and fire protection codes, standards (e.g., NBC, NFPA), and typical system layouts.
Experience in large infrastructure/building projects is preferred.
Good communication and coordination skills.
