Jacobs are looking for an engaging, customer centric, solution focused, rising star with hands on, practical Information Manager (BIM) experience to lead the delivery excellence for our projects. The opportunity is to be Information Manager (BIM) within our Cities & Places business unit and responsible for the implementation of the UK BIM Framework including ISO19650 Series along with regional specific BIM standards within your allocated projects.. Accountabilities Of The Role. Information Manager (BIM) Function As a key member of the Project Delivery team you will be the responsible person for all matters relating to Information Management Delivery and BIM Management. The Information Manager (BIM) is aligned with the Project Manager and Solution Manager to ensure adherence of the Project Delivery Strategy. You will be responsible for managing the People, Process, Solutions & Procurement functions to drive action in digital delivery. You will focus on managing Project Information, use of the Common Data Environment, verification of the Project Information Model content, information governance and “BIM” standard adherence, clash coordination, BIM strategy, client liaising, discipline collaboration, delivery management, site coordination, BIM manual management etc.. Delivery Excellence In project delivery you will be responsible for the daily management, integrity and security of information created and delivered, whilst supporting project teams in delivery excellence, assisting with learning programs and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to improve the quality of our outputs. Your collective aim is to achieve project delivery excellence to agreed budgets and programmes through eliminating waste for our clients, projects and business whilst ensuring contractual and commercial compliance is maintained.. Leadership You will be solutions focused, proactive and able to delegate tasks effectively to your team. You will be accountable for effective Information Management upon a project and possess the ability to coach and guide your team, to achieve technically excellent delivery.. Governance Through your understanding of the client and industry requirements you will ensure all commercial agreements are in place and documented accordingly. You will develop, oversee, and ensure the success of the Exchange Information Requirements at each delivery stage.. Commercial performance You will hold responsibility for providing project fee estimates, monitoring spends, recording efficiencies and reporting issues to the Project Manager.. Here's what you'll need. About You. As an Information Manager (BIM) within our Business Units you will undertake a key role in helping our clients achieve their goals and outcomes. Harness the ability to apply the latest Information Management techniques and practices within Construction and Infrastructure Industry including industry standards and government policies. Establish, manage, and control the Common Data Environment with good knowledge of interconnecting Electronic Data Management Systems, along with its processes, procedures and ensuring its integrity.. Demonstrate an understanding of authoring tools utilised by the Construction industry to manage client’s, supplier’s, and project’s graphical and non-graphical data.. Demonstrate comprehensive experience of collaboration software.. Create, set up, coordinate, and deliver Information Management Protocols and Execution Plans.. Demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the roles, relationships and responsibilities required of Information Management within Project delivery.. Assesses capability and training needs, proactively implementing training and support.. Recognize emerging technologies, opportunities and solutions that support our Clients and Project Delivery.. Here’s What You’ll Need. Proven experience in a technical and/or engineering space with a thorough understanding of project information management principles and application. Minimum of 10-15 years of experience working in the Construction, or Engineering industry. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in preparing/evaluating BEP, managing design coordination meetings between different disciplines, conducting clash detection, and resolving clashes.. Proficient in reviewing and creating client EIRs and developing BEPs.. Proficient in understanding the ISO 19650 series, National BIM Standard-United States™ (NBIMS-US™), as well as regional-specific Building Information Modelling (BIM) standards.. Good organization skills and an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.. Experience of ensuring the fundamental compliance in Information Management according to the UK BIM Framework is preferred.. Knowledge of design processes within a multi-disciplinary delivery environment.. Experience of implementing various interconnecting Electronic Data Management Systems.. A professional certification with sufficient experience in BIM technology. An interest in project leadership.. International project experience is preferred.. Show more Show less
