About The Team In Denmark
In Denmark you will work with our structural engineering group. We consist of nearly 70 structural engineers and BIM Designers ranging from junior consultants to very experienced senior consultants. We work with a wide scope of assignments ranging from the planning-stage to execution of drawings for final production. In general we work in 2-4 persons teams assigned to different projects, our engineers have a typical workload of 2-4 ongoing projects.Typical projects are, offices, schools, stations retail and housing.A BIM Designer in Structural Engineering at AFRY must understand and be able to use digital processes, methods, and tools within the following five key areas. Together with their immediate supervisor, they must continuously ensure that the necessary competencies are in place to meet the role's requirements.
- Coordination, Planning and Communication
- Contribute to the coordination and communication of the project's digital deliverables internally within the discipline.
- Participate in IKT/BIM meetings as needed.
- Contribute to the planning of the digital deliverables.
- Structure, Classification, Digital Communication, and CDE Environments
- Use and contribute to the structure, classification, and identification in the discipline's model(s).
- Use and contribute to the correct use of written communication
- Use coordinated and planned file exchange within the discipline.
- Correct and coordinated use of CDE environments within the discipline.
- Correct use of naming structure within the discipline
- Digital Design
- Contribute to and correctly use CAD/BIM tools and systems within the discipline.
- Contribute to and correctly use building models within the discipline.
- Contribute to the planning of drawing production within the discipline.
- Use the correct coordinate, height, and module system within the discipline.
- Contribute to and use the planning and execution of the discipline's consistency and collision control.
- Digital Tender
- Correct use of coordinated structure and process for digital tender within the discipline.
- Correct coordinated use of structure for measurement rules within the discipline.
- Correct use of tender portal within the discipline.
- Use and contribute to the coordination and planning of the scope and deliverables for digital tender within the discipline.
- Quantities and Digital Handover
- Correct and coordinated use of the scope of quantities, project material, and facility management documentation and data.
- Contribute to and use coordinated scope of handover of "As Built" material.

Qualifications
We expect that you have
- A Qualified Degree in Engineering from a reputed College
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in structural design and engineering
- Good written and verbal English language
- Working knowledge of Revit
- A good knowledge of working in all applications of MS Office
- Experience of working abroad, especially projects in the Nordics.
We appreciate if you have
- Knowledge of BIM Collab Zoom, BCF Manager in Revit and BIM Collab Nexus
