Billing Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Billing Engineer specializing in the finishing industry to handle measurement, billing, and client coordination. The candidate should be proficient in mode of measurement, quantity verification for Paint & Gypsum. They will be responsible for ensuring accurate documentation, verifying on-site work, and coordinating with project teams and clients for seamless billing processes. Key responsibilities:- Prepare client and subcontractor bills, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project scope. Verify work done on-site, cross-checking with project drawings, BOQs, and measurement standards. Ensure correct mode of measurement as per industry and project-specific standards. Compile Tender Documents based on the requirements of the project. Check bills raised by the contractor. This includes on-site verification of measurement & verification of rates with Tender. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to validate quantities and cost estimates. Prepare, certify & submit quantity amendment in format as per Site Requirement. Follow-up for Work Order amendment in case of quantity, rate etc variation. Key Requirements: 2-3 years of experience in billing and quantity surveying in the finishing industry. Strong knowledge of modes of measurement, quantity estimation. Proficiency in AutoCAD Experience in client coordination and subcontractor management. Familiarity with IS standards for finishing works. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Prior experience in finishing projects (residential/commercial/hospitality) is a plus.
