Billing Engineer

Job Summary

We are turnkey construction contractors working for various government departments.

We require a Billing Engineer (Civil Construction) for our various project sites in Uttar Pradesh.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Planning - understanding of Tender BOQ & relevant drawings for estimation of quantity required to enable timely procurement
• Preparation of running bills and final bills of subcontractors & labour contractors
• Preparation of running bills and final bills for the client i.e. Government Departments & getting it checked/approved
• Checking measurements and maintaining MBs, including site visits for physical checking of bills in coordination with the site engineer, preparing quantity sheet from drawings and on-site data
• Material Reconciliation – reconcile materials with purchases, actual and theoretical consumption
• Identification and preparation of Extra Items along with Rate Analysis
• Estimation - also responsible for quantity calculation for preparation of detailed estimates

Key Skills

• Knowledge of stage wise on-site execution of civil works so as to understand the billing process better
• Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel in particular) to enable preparation of Bills
• Experience of AutoCAD is required so as to open designs & drawings, take measurements / dimensions and to do drafting

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering is a must
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience is required

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
