Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly and responsible staff to join our pet store team. In this role, you will assist customers, care for animals, maintain store cleanliness, and help drive sales by providing excellent service and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers with purchases and pet-related questions
Operate cash register, handle transactions, and process returns/exchanges
Stock shelves and ensure products are neatly displayed and replenished
Assist in feeding, cleaning, and general care of animals in the store (fish, small mammals, reptiles, etc.)
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the store
Educate customers on pet care, food, toys, and other products
Receive and process inventory shipments
Follow store policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and provide a positive shopping experience

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus
Passion for animals and basic knowledge of pet care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Comfortable handling animals of various sizes and species

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
