Bilingual UI/UX Design Engineer

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented UI Designer & UX Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in designing intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centric digital experiences. This role demands a strong blend of creative design skills and user experience expertise, ensuring that our applications deliver exceptional usability, accessibility, and engagement.

Education: Bachelor's or master’s in design, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, or related field.

Language: English, Business Japanese (N3 or above)

Key Responsibilities

• 
  UI Design
  • Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and corporate identity standards for consistent brand expression in a cross-platform environment.
  • Develop high-fidelity mockups, style guides, design systems, and interactive prototypes.
  • Translate designs into functional UI components.
  • Apply color theory, typography, and layout principles effectively.

• 
  UX
  • Conduct user research, persona development, and usability testing to guide design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, journey maps, and information architecture documentation.
  • Optimize workflows, interactions, and navigation structures for better usability.
  • Ensure compliance with UX guidelines, accessibility standards and platform-specific design requirements (e.g., Material Design, Automotive HMI Guidelines).

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
• Proficiency in design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of prototyping tools: Figma, InVision, or similar.
• Solid understanding of design principles, UX research methodologies, and human-centered design.
• Experience in responsive design, cross-platform UI design, and component libraries.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to feedback.
• Understanding of HMI, digital cockpits, infotainment systems, or connected car features.
• Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment.
