Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Bigdata Engineer located in the Greater Chennai Area. The Bigdata Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data processing solutions. The role involves working with big data technologies to build and optimize data pipelines, developing data sets to support business operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The engineer will also ensure data quality and integrity, and contribute to system architecture discussions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
• Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and database systems
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Familiarity with cloud-based data services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions including Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in the relevant industry is a plus
