Job Description

As a Senior Associate DevOps Engineer at NTT DATA, you will be a developing subject matter expert responsible for consulting with internal clients about the software technology environment with medium complexity. Your role will involve supporting the translation of business requirements into technology terms, developing algorithms, and programming code for software solutions. Your primary objective will be to design, test, implement, and maintain software code to enable computer systems to perform specific tasks and determine how technology can meet client needs. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with Platform Specialists to receive detailed business/user requirement specifications. - Assist in preparing technical requirements documents and system flowcharts. - Analyze business requirements to ensure the designed solution meets the needs. - Transform detailed requirements into a complete systems design document. - Compile detailed technical specifications for developers to implement. - Convert designs into information systems, including testing and refining programs. - Document the development process and procedures for application use and security. - Identify and correct program errors in logic and data. - Assist with installation, deployment, and integration of applications. - Support code sets and implementations in production environments. - Write and distribute task descriptions for operating and maintaining solutions. - Perform other related tasks as required. Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of multi-technology application design best practices. - Ability to work with abstract concepts and have strong problem-solving skills. - Developing technical understanding of development and platform engineering. - Excellent client-centricity, planning, and communication skills. - Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work well within a team. - Knowledge of project management principles and continuous improvement methodologies. - Developing knowledge of continuous integration and deployment pipelines, automation tooling, and source code repositories. Academic Qualifications and Certifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. - Relevant DevOps certification preferred. - Relevant Agile-related certification preferred. - Certification in cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). - Certification in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby). Required Experience: - Experience in Software Development and Support. - Experience deploying software solutions in an outsourced IT environment. - Experience working in a multi-team environment across multiple geographies. - Programming/development experience including Agile processes.
