As a Business Intelligence (BI) Team Lead at Medline India, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing BI solutions in a Cloud environment, transitioning current BI reporting to Cloud, and ensuring efficient data architectures. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing BI solutions in a Cloud environment (Azure / Fabric) and transitioning current BI reporting to Cloud. - Writing advanced SQL scripts and creating optimum BI Reporting. - Transitioning Web Focus Reports/scripts to SQL. - Actively driving BI projects involving SQL, Alteryx, or any other BI tool with the team. - Leading and managing a team of BI developers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to achieve team goals and objectives. - Designing documentation templates including project charters with project plans, timelines, milestones, and project closing documentation. - Conducting and documenting regular reviews of project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure projects are on track and within scope. - Conducting regular team performance evaluations, providing feedback, and facilitating training and development opportunities for team members. - Identifying opportunities for process improvement and ensuring the BI team adheres to best practices and standards in data management and analytics. - Managing relationships with IT Teams and Finance stakeholders for BI projects. - Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the BI team and across the organization. - Communicating insights and recommendations effectively to non-technical stakeholders. - Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in BI technologies, recommending and implementing innovative solutions. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. - 10-14 years of proven BI experience, including leading BI teams with a strong technical background. - Expertise in ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, SSIS, or equivalent, Alteryx, data factory. - Proficiency in SQL and database management systems with the ability to write highly optimized SQL queries and stored procedures for complex requirements. - Experience in Cloud-based solutions (Azure, Fabric, AWS, Informatica, etc.). - Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration techniques. - Good knowledge of SAP and quality processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. - Certifications in relevant BI technologies and cloud platforms are advantageous. Preferred skills for this role include familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik, knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and scripting, experience in the Finance domain, and willingness to work with both on-shore and off-shore teams.
