Description
As a Business Intelligence Manager at IDP, your primary role is to support decision-making across the Higher Education industry by leading the development, maintenance, and oversight of reporting and analytics processes. Your contributions will provide actionable insights into IDP Partnerships business and product performance, focusing on metrics related to student placement, digital marketing, and other core areas. Your efforts will align with the company's vision to empower students to access Higher Education through a trusted global platform and connected community. Key Responsibilities: - Understand business needs and objectives to ensure reporting and analytics outputs effectively address them. - Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics. - Own the roadmap for internal and client reporting, balancing priorities and aligning with business objectives. - Mentor and oversee analysts in Chennai for accurate, consistent, and timely delivery of reporting outputs. - Support the migration to ELT frameworks by designing and deploying SQL views and transformation logic. - Identify opportunities to enhance and automate reporting processes, collaborating with stakeholders for efficiency and data quality. - Develop a strong understanding of IDP's data sources to integrate and present reports coherently. - Promote data literacy and the use of BI across the business to encourage data-driven decision-making. Qualifications Required: - Significant experience as a data/BI analyst with strong data manipulation, analysis, visualization, and reporting skills. - Proficiency in SQL with experience in designing and deploying SQL views for transformation logic. - Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau preferred) and database management in cloud environments. - Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated ability to oversee and develop analysts. - Strong stakeholder engagement skills to translate business needs into reporting deliverables. - Agile approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and automation is desirable. - Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow tools and the education sector analytics is a plus. - Active involvement in the BI/analytics community is beneficial.
