BI Lead - Mumbai Location

We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Lead to head our BI initiatives in Mumbai. This role goes beyond day-to-day reporting, you will be responsible for shaping the BI strategy, driving adoption of analytics across the business, and ensuring that leadership has the insights needed for strategic decision-making. You will lead end-to-end BI delivery, from requirement gathering to solution design, and will guide a small team or work with external partners where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of the companys BI and data analytics roadmap.

• Partner with senior leadership to identify business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.

• Architect and oversee the development of data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.

• Manage BI platforms and ensure scalability, security, and performance.

• Mentor and guide analysts to develop strong BI and data visualization skills.

• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and other functions to standardize reporting practices.

• Ensure high standards of data governance, quality, and accuracy across all BI outputs.

• Stay ahead of BI and analytics trends to introduce new tools and methodologies that enhance business performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• 7+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or related roles, with at least 2–3 years in a lead/managerial capacity.

• Deep expertise in SQL and hands-on proficiency with Python or R for advanced analytics.

• Strong knowledge of BI and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).

• Experience in designing and managing scalable data models and data warehouses.

• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders, communicate effectively, and present insights at leadership level.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect data analysis to real business impact. • Proven track record of leading BI projects end-to-end, from requirements to delivery.
