About the Role

BI Developer

Responsibilities

Design and Development

Plan and prioritize day-to-day activities to align with business objectives and ensure optimal resource utilization.
Provide consolidated visibility into request statuses, timelines, and progress for all BI-related tasks.
Advise team members on efficient solutions to meet new or special business requests.
Maintain an enhancement list and schedule for existing reports and dashboards.

Communication and Interactions

Collaborate with business units and senior leaders across departments including Finance, HR, Recruitment, Sales, and Marketing to define and deliver BI and analytics solutions.
Identify key performance metrics and build executive dashboards to track business performance and priority initiatives.
Consult with cross-functional experts and data owners to source and acquire the right data for analysis.
Ensure accurate and synchronized communication between business and IT teams regarding data and reporting.
Contribute to the design and evolution of Ciklum's core data warehouse and ETL pipelines.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Proven experience in
data analytics
and building
BI dashboards and reports
(preferably with
Sisense
, or similar BI tools).
Proficient in
SQL
, with experience in writing and optimizing complex queries.
Advanced skills in
Microsoft Excel
.
Good knowledge of
web development
is a plus.
Experience in
data architecture
,
database design
, and
data management
is desirable.
Creative thinker with strong
time management
and
prioritization skills
.
Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Strong verbal and written
communication skills
.
Familiarity with
Agile
and
Scrum methodologies
.
Strong
team player
with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
