BDM - Freight Forwarding

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead sales and client acquisition efforts for our Freight Forwarding division at the Ravipuram branch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding, excellent networking skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with clients in the freight forwarding and logistics sector.

· Generate new business leads and convert them into long-term clients.

· Promote and sell international and domestic freight services – Air, Sea & Road.

· Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.

· Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and service offerings.

· Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction.

· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

· Represent the company in exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events.

Key Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development within the freight forwarding industry.

· Strong understanding of international logistics, shipping documentation, and customs regulations.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and in a team.

· Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.

· Strong client database in freight forwarding will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
