Job Description

As a Business Development Manager (BDM) - Sales in the air ticketing sector, your role is crucial in expanding the corporate client base and establishing strong relationships with clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying and engaging potential corporate clients, creating customized proposals, and maintaining long-term relationships for client satisfaction and repeat business. - Developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand market share, collaborating with senior management, and driving end-to-end sales cycles. - Preparing competitive proposals, negotiating terms, and closing contracts with corporate clients while ensuring alignment with company policies. - Engaging with clients regularly to explore upselling opportunities, staying updated on industry trends, and refining sales strategies based on market intelligence. - Collaborating with internal teams for smooth execution of corporate travel bookings and resolving any issues that may arise. - Tracking and reporting sales performance metrics, maintaining client records, and providing activity reports for management review. Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - Minimum 5-10 years of experience in corporate sales, preferably in the air ticketing industry, with a proven track record of developing new business and managing high-value corporate accounts. - Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to tailor solutions to meet specific client needs and close deals effectively. - Hands-on experience with GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.) and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). - A master's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Travel & Tourism, or a related field is preferred. - Personal attributes include being self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of handling multiple client requests simultaneously while working independently and as an effective team player. Preferred experience includes prior experience in corporate travel management or airline GSA environment, as well as fluency in additional languages for international client engagement.,
