Battery Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in advancing the understanding of battery performance. Your responsibilities will include developing test plans, analyzing test data, identifying degradation mechanisms, optimizing module and pack lifetime, and simulating battery performance. Your expertise in handling battery testing equipment and interpreting test results will be essential for the success of the team. Key Responsibilities: - Execute and maintain battery tests using various equipment. - Supervise thermal and mechanical tests. - Write test plans and summarize results in reports. - Optimize module and pack lifetime through data analysis. - Create models to simulate battery performance. - Perform cell-level dissection analysis. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product development. - Set up and execute cell/battery pack testing. - Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues. - Utilize sensor instrumentation and data acquisition systems. Qualifications Required: - Experience working with cell chemistries and understanding battery degradation mechanisms. - Proficiency in handling low and high-voltage lithium-ion battery systems. - Excellent communication skills for presenting technical data. - Knowledge of instrumentation, coding, reliability testing, and quality management. - Strong understanding of Li-ion battery systems and testing standards. - Experience in setting up experiments for desired testing outcomes. - Result-oriented, self-motivated, and team-oriented attitude. - Highest level of integrity and sense of ownership.
