Furthermore, you will create models to simulate battery performance at different stages of life, perform cell-level dissection analysis to identify energy and power losses mechanisms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine optimal cell chemistry and design for electric vehicle applications. Your duties will also include setting up professional data acquisition systems, executing cell/battery pack testing, troubleshooting testing issues, and utilizing sensor instrumentation and data acquisition systems. The ideal candidate for this role should have experience with cell chemistries, knowledge of battery degradation mechanisms, and familiarity with low and high-voltage lithium-ion battery systems. Strong communication skills, the ability to present technical data effectively, and expertise in instrumentation, coding, reliability testing, and quality management are essential.
