Battery Pack Lead - Mobility

• Would be responsible to Pack design 3D CAD model, assembly & sub assembly along with 2D drawings following GD & T, Also must be familiar with Stack up analysis and tolerances
• Would be Responsible for BoM generation, component selections based on the need
• Should have sound knowledge on Standards and design practices needed for making a Pack
• Should have understanding on Li-Ion chemistries, Series and parallel combinations
• Must be able to conduct DFM & identify failure modes for vibration, Mechanical shock at Battery Pack level
• Asses and arrive at Ingress protection/ sealing design for the pack as per the application need.
• Responsible for interaction with suppliers, selection of components, electrical, thermal pads, Compression foams, etc.
• Must be able to evaluate the application and perform the component selection appropriately
• Evaluate the right components needed for Module design and pack design, selection of right material against vibrations & shocks

Other Job requisites:-

• Must have complete knowledge on pack building from module to pack, considering the Electrical Isolation used, BMS mounting, Power connector selection etc.
• Must have knowledge on Low Voltage or  High Voltage battery packs for 2Wheeler/3Wheeler/LCVs
• Should have good experience on standards used like ISO, IEC, UL following all the design principle
• Must be able to understand the cell charge & discharge characteristics and should work closely with the analysis team for freezing the Thermal management design
• Must be willing to involve in Prototyping the first design parts, implementing strategies to test and validate for manufacturing qualification
• Must work closely with the testing team for proto validations
