Bash Engineer

Years of Experience:

Strong experience writing Bash scripts for automation, orchestration, and CI/CD integration.

Skills:

Bash Scripting, CI/CD Pipelines
Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, Azure DevOps
Linux environments, Docker, and Kubernetes

Day-to-Day Work:

Write, optimize, and maintain Bash scripts for system automation and process orchestration.
Automate system-level operations such as environment setup, builds, and log management.
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines ensuring deployment efficiency.
Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to standardize workflows.
Conduct peer reviews and apply structured metadata/documentation practices.
Develop high-quality, production-ready scripts with clear specifications and modular design.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of scripting experience in Bash.
Deep understanding of Linux systems and automation.
Experience integrating Bash into CI/CD tools.
Proficiency with container tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
Familiarity with JSON/YAML and version control systems.
Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
