Job Description

Job Summary:

The Banquet Sales Executive is responsible for generating banquet sales, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the smooth coordination of events. The role focuses on meeting revenue targets by promoting banquet facilities, handling client inquiries, preparing proposals, and coordinating with operations to deliver successful events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for banquet sales (corporate, social, weddings, conferences, exhibitions, etc.).
  • Handle inquiries, prepare customized proposals, and conduct negotiations to close banquet deals.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly banquet sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular follow-ups and personalized service.
  • Conduct site visits and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Coordinate with the banquet operations team, F&B, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Maintain updated records of bookings, contracts, and client communications.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify business opportunities.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management review.
  • Ensure maximum guest satisfaction through professional handling of pre- and post-event requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in banquet/event sales (hotel or hospitality industry preferred).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for sales and relationship building.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Good knowledge of banquet operations and event management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel sales software (Opera/Sales & Catering preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
