Banking Associate

Role Overview: You will be a part of the Mumbai Industry Analytics Group, collaborating with Investment Banking teams globally. Your role will involve working on various Investment Banking analyses such as market valuation, financial analysis, and evaluating the impact of corporate transactions on earnings. You will be responsible for building thematic pitch-books, conducting industry analysis, creating and updating company valuation models, preparing discussion materials for RFPs and transactions, supervising the team, and ensuring the quality of assignments. Additionally, you will contribute towards building strong relationships with franchises, reviewing and enhancing efficiencies in all assignments, and participating in hiring, training, and mentoring staff. Key Responsibilities: - Build thematic pitch-books covering corporate and sector profiles - Conduct industry analysis by researching trends and events in economies, sectors, and corporates - Create and update company valuation models - Develop discussion materials for RFPs and transactions - Supervise the team and ensure the quality of assignments - Build strong relationships with franchises - Review and enhance efficiencies in all assignments - Contribute towards hiring, training, and mentoring staff Qualifications Required: - In-depth understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and valuation concepts - Good understanding of key industry trends - Ability to multi-task and work under pressure - Analytical approach with attention to detail - Project management skills for delivering client-ready work - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work effectively in teams and promote constructive dialogue - Proactively generate innovative ideas to improve existing approaches - Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills - Respect for confidentiality of information Education: - MBA / CA / Masters in Finance,
