Bakery Master

The Bakery Master will be responsible for planning, preparing, baking, and ensuring the consistent quality of all bakery items including cakes, rusks, breads, and other specialty products. You must have hands-on experience in traditional and commercial bakery operations. You will be required to prepare a wide variety of baked goods such as bread, buns, rusks, biscuits, and cakes according to recipes and production standards. It will be your responsibility to supervise baking assistants/helpers and ensure hygiene, safety, and work discipline. Maintaining the quality, taste, texture, and freshness of all bakery products will be crucial. You will need to check daily production schedules and manage timely baking operations while also keeping equipment and baking tools clean and in working condition. Additionally, you will need to plan and prepare for bulk orders and festive product lines, monitor raw material stock levels, and ensure compliance with food safety standards (FSSAI practices). Innovation in new recipes or product improvements based on market trends will be encouraged, and reporting any operational issues to the Production Head will be part of your duties. Qualifications & Skills: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a professional bakery chef/master. - Deep knowledge of ingredients, baking processes, dough fermentation, and oven handling. - Ability to maintain consistency in large-scale production. - Experience in making traditional South Indian baked items is a plus. - Basic literacy in Tamil or English for reading recipes or instructions. - Good leadership and team coordination skills.
