Your duties will also involve coordinating with the purchase and stores departments for timely procurement of raw materials, as well as ensuring optimal usage and regular maintenance of bakery equipment such as ovens, chillers, and mixers. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining production reports, yield data, and identifying areas for process improvement and cost control. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 10-12 years of bakery experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proficiency in both hot and cold bakery techniques, production planning, quality control, and team management is essential. Exposure to preservative-free or artisanal bakery processes would be an advantage. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also required.
