Job Summary:

The Bakery Factory Technician – Engineering is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems used in bakery production. This role ensures that all equipment and utilities function efficiently to support smooth factory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of bakery machinery such as ovens, mixers, dough sheeters, conveyors, proofers, and packing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation faults.
• Support installation and commissioning of new bakery equipment and utility systems.
• Maintain records of maintenance work, breakdown reports, and spare parts usage.
• Ensure minimal downtime by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain logs.
• Work closely with production teams to optimize machine performance and reduce wastage.
• Monitor and maintain electrical panels, motors, VFDs, sensors, and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
• Assist in energy and utility monitoring (electricity, water, gas, etc.).
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the maintenance areas.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 2–4 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food or bakery factory.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance of bakery or food processing equipment.
• Knowledge of PLC-based systems, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and documentation.
• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
