Baker/Confectioner

Role Overview: You will be responsible for creating and following recipes to produce baked goods and confectioneries. This includes decorating cakes, cookies, and other products to meet quality standards. Additionally, you will be involved in developing new recipes, improving existing ones, managing inventory, and ordering ingredients as needed. It is essential to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, work collaboratively with other kitchen staff, and ensure that all products are baked to perfection and meet customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Baking a variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, and confectioneries - Decorating cakes and other products with precision and creativity - Developing new recipes and enhancing existing ones - Managing inventory and ordering ingredients when required - Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen - Collaborating effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations - Ensuring all products are baked to perfection and meet customer expectations Qualifications Required: - Certificate or diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional baking or confectionary environment - Strong understanding of baking techniques and ingredients - Experience in recipe development and decoration - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Additional Details: The company values skills such as Baking, Confectionery, Recipe Development, Cake Decoration, Inventory Management, Food Safety, and Creative Problem Solving.
