As a Lead DevOps Engineer at GrowExx, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement DevOps infrastructure while adhering to best practices of Infrastructure as Code (IAC). Your primary goal will be to ensure a robust and stable CI/CD process that maximizes efficiency and achieves 100% automation. You will be responsible for analyzing system requirements comprehensively to develop effective Test Automation Strategies for applications. Additionally, your role will involve designing infrastructure using cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or others. You will also manage Code Repositories like GitHub, GitLab, or BitBucket, and automate software quality gateways using Sonarqube. Preferred candidate profile looking for a skilled Veritas NetBackup L2 Engineer to manage and support backup and recovery operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, administration, and maintenance of Veritas NetBackup environments. 3-5 years of experience in Veritas NetBackup administration . Strong knowledge of backup policies, retention, schedules, and disaster recovery . Hands-on experience with NetBackup versions 8.x and above . We are seeking a skilled Backup Implementation Engineer with hands-on experience in Veritas NetBackup or Flex Appliances . The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, deploying, and maintaining backup and recovery infrastructure across enterprise environments. You will also assist in data protection strategies, backup policy configurations, and disaster recovery planning. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and implement Veritas NetBackup and Flex Appliances in client environments. Conduct health checks , performance tuning, patch management, and upgrades of backup infrastructure. Define and implement backup and recovery policies , including SLA-based retention strategies. Integrate NetBackup with various OS platforms , applications (e.g., Oracle, SQL, Exchange), and cloud targets. Perform capacity planning and ensure sufficient storage for backup jobs. Troubleshoot backup failures, job delays, and media issues and provide timely resolution. Prepare technical documentation , runbooks, and implementation reports. Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams for seamless deployments. Provide training or handover sessions to operations/support teams post-deployment. Adhere to ITIL practices such as Change Management and Incident Management . Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Veritas NetBackup (v8.x and above). Experience with Veritas Flex Appliances (configuration, maintenance, upgrades). Good understanding of backup architecture , SAN/NAS integration, and enterprise storage.
