Backend Software Engineer

You will be joining YoCharge, an Electric Vehicle Charging & Energy Management SaaS startup that supports Charge Point Operators in efficiently launching, operating, and expanding their EV charging business. YoCharge operates globally in over 20 countries and is seeking enthusiastic team members who are passionate about developing innovative products in the EV & Energy sector. As a Backend Engineer (SDE-I) at YoCharge, located in Udaipur, you will play a key role in scaling YoCharge's back-end platform and services to facilitate smart charging for electric vehicles. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and have proven experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar role. Proficiency in Python with Django and FastAPI frameworks is essential, along with previous experience in scaling a product. Additionally, knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL), ORM frameworks, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), deployment pipelines, CI/CD, DevOps practices, micro-services architecture, and asynchronous programming is required. You should also be adept at designing and developing RESTful APIs, understanding systems architecture for scalability, utilizing monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack), and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and have 1-2+ years of experience are also necessary.
