Backend Software Engineer

Qualifications Required: - Mastery of multiple programming languages and platforms. - Minimum of 9 years of software development experience. - Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and other scripting languages such as Java, Python, Scala, C#, and Go. - Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases like Postgres, Trino, Redshift, and Mongo. - Experience in developing SAAS products on public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Demonstrated experience in designing and developing distributed systems at scale. - Proficiency in queues, locks, scheduling, event-driven architecture, workload distribution, relational, and non-relational databases. - Thorough understanding of software development best practices and leadership skills. - Degree or equivalent relevant experience required; experience will be assessed based on core competencies for the role (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).
