Job Role/Title: Backed Engineer (GEN AI)

Work Experience: 3-4 Years

Work Location: Pune

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python , Django and GEN AI.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and work with JSON for data exchange.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, ensuring optimized queries and data models.
• Collaborate in version-controlled environments using Git and follow modern development workflows.

• Implement asynchronous programming patterns where required.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Apply core object-oriented programming principles in day-to-day coding tasks.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and unit testing.

Must Have:

• Strong knowledge of Python, Django & GEN AI
• Experience with FAST API, REST APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Exposure to or interest in Generative AI frameworks (e.g., OpenAI GPT, LangChain, RAG)
• Understanding of Asynchronous programming
• Ability to write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming.

• Nice to Have:
• Experience with Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Experience integrating LLMs for tasks like summarization, Q&A, content generation.
• Understanding of vector databases like Pinecone or Chroma
• Familiarity with Docker, Linux commands, or CI/CD tools.
• Exposure to unit testing and debugging tools eg pytest
