Backend Engineer (Python)

• We are looking for a highly capable Python Engineer specializing in Flask to design, build, and maintain the backbone of our web-based applications.
• You will collaborate with front-end developers, design and implement scalable back-end solutions, and integrate secure and efficient data storage methods.
• To ensure success in this role, you should have extensive knowledge of Python and Flask, coupled with a strong background in building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• An accomplished Flask developer will create robust, maintainable, and high-performing applications that seamlessly connect the front-end with back-end services.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in Python and Flask for developing and maintaining APIs and web applications.
• Strong understanding of Microservice architecture.
• Build scalable and maintainable RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs when needed.
• Implement data protection solutions and ensure secure storage practices.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes .
• Experience with code versioning tools like Git .
• Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms to deploy and manage applications.
• Perform quality assurance, load testing, and debugging for optimal performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or a related field.
• At least 2+ years of experience as a Python developer with a focus on Flask.
• Hands-on experience with designing and developing APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of web technologies, libraries, and frameworks.
• Superb problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
• Availability to resolve urgent issues outside of business hours.
