Overview

We are looking for a motivated candidate to build backend systems and an exposed API's for our application.

Goals

• Build API's and background services using AWS.
• Use REST principles to implement a previously designed API's using lambda and API Gateway.
• Build Long running tasks using services like SQS and step functions.
• Write functions that implement business logic directly and reduce the overhead associated with handling validations and serialization/deserialization, etc.
• Use DynamoDb and Elasticsearch as the data stores to build data driven sub systems.
• Use a serverless framework combined with Cloudformation to manage our infrastructure as code.
  

Specifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 to 4 years of professional Backend Engineering experience
• Strong analytical thinking.
• Ability to understand and implement complex architectures.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to work with a majority remote team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to multitask and shift focus as needed
• Ability to form working relationships within the teams
