Job Summary

We are seeking a talented JavaScript Backend Developer with 3-5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems. The role involves building scalable APIs, working with microservices, and contributing to cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities (KRA)

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Build scalable, high-performance, and secure backend architectures using JavaScript (Node.js).
• Design and implement microservices and serverless architectures.
• Integrate real-time communication systems using socket.io.
• Manage databases, ensuring high availability and performance (MongoDB, NoSQL).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps, QA) for end-to-end development.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize backend performance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
  

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) with backend frameworks like Node.js.
• Hands-on experience in REST APIs, microservices, and serverless architecture.
• Knowledge of real-time communication using socket.io.
• Expertise in databases - MongoDB, NoSQL (SQL knowledge is a plus).
• Experience with Docker, containerization, and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
