Role Description

Backend Developer (Node.js)

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain scalable server-side applications using
Node.js
Design and implement
RESTful
or
GraphQL APIs
Work with
SQL
and
NoSQL
databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
Integrate third-party APIs and services
Ensure backend systems are secure, efficient, and optimized for performance
Collaborate with frontend developers, data engineers, and AI specialists
Write unit tests, debug, and maintain code quality
Deploy and maintain backend services on
cloud platforms
(AWS/Azure/GCP)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years
of backend development experience with Node.js
Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with frameworks like
Express.js
or
NestJS
Database design & query optimization skills
Knowledge of authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth 2.0)
Familiarity with
Docker
,
Kubernetes
, and CI/CD tools is a plus
Understanding of security best practices (OWASP Top 10)
